Patients who are at extremely high risk of severe complications are being asked by the Government to “Shield”. There is information here about what this means. Over the next few weeks, one of our Practice Nurses or GPs will telephone every patient who is being advised to shield. During the call we will talk through what is required and what support is available to you during this period. We may also ask you about your wishes, should you become unwell with the Coronavirus infection. This video was made by a GP in Scotland and explains why it is important to consider what your wishes might be and why we might ask you about these.
