From today, patients should NOT contact the surgery with ANY queries regarding Covid-19. If you have mild symptoms, or are looking for information about Covid-19, please visit http://www.nhsinform.scot or phone the Scottish Coronavirus Helpline on 0800 028 2816. If you require a fit note for your employer because you have been isolating at home, visit https://111.nhs.uk/isolation-note. If you have symptoms of Covid-19 but require more help than is available online, please contact NHS24 on 111. The dedicated team will be able to advise you.
If you require assistance with any health issue other than Covid-19, the practice is here to help you. We are currently unable to offer routine face to face appointments but we can arrange pre-bookable telephone consultations or arrange for a GP to phone you back the same day for urgent issues. Please telephone the surgery as normal to speak to our highly trained reception team who will ask for further information in order to be able to help you. Please do not come to the surgery unless you have a pre-arranged appointment. If you or anyone in your household has a cough, breathlessness or a fever, PLEASE DO NOT COME INTO THE SURGERY AT ALL.
For the safety of all patients and staff, if you have a face to face appointment at the surgery please wait in your car or outside the main door on arrival. If waiting outside, please stand at least 2m away from any other person. The doctor or nurse will call you on your mobile or come to the door to invite you in for your appointment. Thank you for your understanding.
To reduce the risk of infection, please do not come into the surgery to collect prescriptions. If you request a repeat prescription or special request, this will be sent to your chosen pharmacy. For most items, please allow at least 2-3 days for your prescription to be ready. We apologise for any inconvenience during this challenging time. We hope that patients will understand that we are taking these steps to protect the most vulnerable patients in our community and to help us keep the Practice open and running.
