The surgery has an Automatic External Defibrillator kept on the premises. This is registered with the Scottish Ambulance Service.

The purchase cost of this essential item was subsidised by the sale of a painting donated by local artist Sir John Damari. Many thanks to Sir John for his generous donation which was sold at auction in March 2018.
