In response to patient feedback we have made some changes to the appointment system to increase the number of GP appointments which can be booked in advance. We hope that this will make it easier for patients to arrange a GP appointment on a day that suits them. This does mean however that “on the day” appointments now have to be reserved for urgent problems which absolutely cannot wait until the next working day. We hope that you will help our reception team to help you find the most suitable appointment for your problem.
Please remember that the GP might not be the most suitable person for you to see or speak to – our reception staff are trained to make sure that you are directed to the most appropriate healthcare professional for your particular problem.
